I am unable to find any way of removing an old boots advantage card from my apple wallet and I am unable to upload a new one on to it. Can you please advise on how this old card can be removed?

Tap the Boots card in your Wallet app. Tap three dots in circle in upper right corner of screen. There should be a link that says >Remove Pass<. Click the Remove Pass link. There are several possibilities if you do not have the link.

Loyalty cards, rewards cards etc. are controlled by the issuer. This is what a properly designed loyalty card should look like.
Boots didn’t build their card correctly and unless their app can do it, it’ll be up to the Boots support team to remove it.
There is a brute force way, which is to remove all your payment cards and then delete the Wallet app and download a new copy from your Apple App Store. Each card will have to be added back into your Wallet app.
Normally, there would be a link to remove the card directly above where it says >Program Details<. This leads me to believe their app may have a provision for removing the card. Have you gone through the Boots app?
OK, once it’s finished. What option are there when you tap the I? Is there something the says >Pass Details< or something similar?

So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

There are no 3 dots showing when I bring up the card in my wallet. A i icon comes up on the bottom right hand corner. When I click that it comes up with info on the card but no option to remove. Equally no option to remove in settings.
I have and there is no provision I can find. When i try to add the new one it comes up with a notification saying this can't be done until I have removed the old one for my wallet. This really should be simple!

It’s a store loyalty card. You collect points with every purchase. Not an account card.
