I need to change the color of a car in a video. I’ve used all of the available tools in FCPX but I’m barely seeing any change in hue. Can anyone give me any tips or suggestions please? Thanks in advance!

I've done everything that's in that video but nothing changes:
The top image is after the hue has been changed and the bottom is the original. WHY isn't this working???

Ok, I’ll give that a shot tonight. It was shot with a RED camera at 5k so the files are enormous.

But this turns the entire vehicle another color. I can only change the grey body of it, not the black roof.

Since it is for testing, it does not need to be an original file. If I export it as 1080p+.mov, won't it fit within 3GB?
