I can't remove an unwanted extension/app on MacBook pro!?!?

I had a webinar was run through Cisco Webex many months ago and downloaded the software for the meeting. I don't like keeping that kind of software on my computer so after the webinar I attempted to delete it And I've been doing so ever since; it's been four months now and every time I attempt to remove it I end up in the same seemingly impossible situation.

When I try to drag the extension to the trash, as is suggested by apple, I get an error message stating that the extension is part of an app and the app needs to be removed before the extension can be deleted. When I click the “show in finder” button on the error message it takes me to what looks like an app but is actually in an add-on folder. For the record, when I look for the Webex app in my applications folder it doesn't exist nor is it on my launchpad. Anyhow when I try to remove the “app” from the add-on folder, I get another error message that, “The item "Webex.app" can't be moved to the Trash because some of its extensions are in use.” I don't understand how it still can be in use nor how to shut it down because I can't find it anywhere but in the add ons folder. I'm definitely paranoid about this type of thing as I've been hacked before and this doesn't seem like legitimate behavior for an app from what I thought was a reputable company(Cisco). ☹︎ Any suggestions /assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
