When I try to delete touch ID fingerprint on Iphone SE (iOS 18.0.1) I get an error that I need to turn off stolen device protection.
When I try to turn off stolen device protection option, I get an error:
“Touch ID for “settings”
Authentication is required before you can turn off stolen device protection”
So, currently I can’t delete or add fingerprints on the device.
How to fix the issue?
I found a solution and glad to share it with the community.
1/ Go to: https://www.icloud.com/find/
2/ Erase this device
3/ Restore from icloud/itunes
Haver you turned off Stolen Device Protection?
I can’t do it because of the error:

I can’t delete/add fingerprints:
It requires fingerprint authentication to turn off Stolen Device Protection. It doesn’t allow passcode authentication.
Touch ID fingerprints can’t be deleted, new fingerprintes are also can’t be added
