Bluetooth connection problems since Sequoia

After upgrading to Sequoia, I noticed that my Bluetooth keyboard, once connected when the laptop is turned on, disconnects after 30 seconds for a short period of time. At the same time, the Bluetooth connection for my mouse becomes laggy, and I have to turn the mouse off and on again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, are there any fixes?

If it's not an Apple Magic Keyboard then it is a 3rd party device and you should check with the vendor if they have any updates, etc. For example, Logitech has their dongle and some models also support Bluetooth. Logitech software typically updates the firmware of their devices paired to the dongle. Despite bluetooth not needing the dongle the keyboard itself might need a firmware update to handle power sleep / wake of the keyboard itself. Other keyboard brands may have their own software that may need to be updated.

Apple is very close to releasing macOS 15.1 so keep checking for updates.

As a workaround, most bluetooth keyboards will connect using a USB charging cable (Lightning cable for Apple Magic devices) that defeats it being wireless but at least the keyboard will work reliably until the bluetooth issue is resolved.

I've had terrible Bluetooth issues that started exactly when I upgraded to Sequoia 15.1. This is with 3rd party devices (Logitech mouse and keyboard) and 1st party devices (AirPods Max). The mouse will sometime disconnect until I turn Bluetooth off and back on again and the headphones will often get jittery with audio constantly dropping out. This is on a 14" Macbook Pro with the M1 Pro chip.

I've had the same issue. Upgraded to Sequoia 15.1 and all of a sudden bluetooth Logitech keyboard and mouse won't connect. (running a MacBook Air M1) Mine won't even recognize them in Bluetooth at all, but will recognize my Bose speakers and connect fine to it. Is this necessarily a Logitech issue? My other Logitech mouse connected with a dongle works just fine. Only the Logitech Bluetooth devices are problematic.
