Bugs/concerning issues with Mail.app since 18.0.1

Has anyone else been having issues with the mail app since the last update? our issues started instantly after the update. All my mail vanished, so i've re-added the accounts, restarted multiple times etc but almost daily my mail vanishes then downloads it all over again.

Luckily i have had no issues with accessessing all my previous emails, but husband has now only been downloading new daily email and all previous emails seem to not wanting to return. I have been in contact with apple support but in reading previous threads with mail issues in previous IOS updates, i agree this is most likely a bug in 18.0.1.

I am continuing my online chat with a call later today with sr level support, but would be curious if others now have this issues as well?

FIXED! Any chance you’re on an AOL or verizon.net domain? I had the same problem last night and this morning and noticed that all of the passwords were wiped out from Mail in Settings/Mail. I just had to re-enter the passwords and all of the accounts in question started working again on the Apple Mail app. Good luck.

I had a support call with apple last night. Although nothing was solved because a transfer to a supervisor was cut off and no one called me back, they did have me reset my network settings, is worth a try, although i'm guessing it's temporary.

Go to Settings/General/ scroll to the bottom Reset Phone/ at bottom Reset / reset network settings

Yes you will need to reset your wifi etc after that, but hopefully is more than a temporary fix
