"Gathering printer information" keeps coming up when I want to print on my iphone after iOS 18.0.1 update. I'm trying to print a PDF from my email on my phone via Bluetooth connection. BT is on in both devices, no VPN. Firmware on printer is up to date.
Are you using a printing app that uses Bluetooth, or are you using AirPrint, which uses Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth? An iPhone cannot print using Bluetooth without an app specifically designed for your printer.

Good to know! I'm not using an app, I'm hitting the box w/ arrow button below the document on my phone. Both printer and phone are on same wifi network.
