I ordered my phone on the 27th of September and was given an estimated delivery date between the 21st and 28th of October. It’s now the 24th of October and my card hasn’t been charged and the order is still “Processing” is this normal in the UK. If not what could be the reason ?

Yes, this is completely normal for Apple. When the status of your order changes to Preparing to Ship, your card will then be charged. The change in status will then pretty rapidly change to Shipped at which time Apple will send you an email with tracking details. Your order is progressing exactly as it should.
