How do I make my AirTag not to emit sound?

my kid had a jacket he lost so I bought an air tag to put on it but he said the air tag made a sound

how can I get this to stop with the air tag

I think the airtag makes a noise when the tag is not near you for a certain amount of time. I am scare that the airtag would start making noise while he is in school/class. AirTag chirruping but says it’s not connected My dog wears an AirTag (I know Apple doesn’t like this but there you go). She’s worn one quite happily for years including battery changes. This morning she was in the room across the landing and her tag started playing its little tune, then stopped. It’s just done it again. If I go in to the Find My app, the tag is correctly shown at home with me. But if I manually try to get it to play the sound, it says it’s not connected and that I should move around to reconnect. But it clearly is connected because it shows the tag in the correct place. What could be happening?

Can I turn off the sound my dog's airtag makes when I move close to it? My dog's airtag makes a sound everytime I move close to it. The airtag is registered to my girlfriend, can I join her airtag registration so my dog's airtag does not make a sound everytime I move near it?

unless he have an iphone so you can share the airtag with his appleID then you can't get it to stop making that sound it's a stalking measure apple made, they don't really advertise these tags to a means to track pets or kids
