I’m an IOS user on iPhone 14 Pro Max locked out of locked notes in notes app. Forgot password and Face ID stopped working at same time tried to reset password but now confused what to do. Did I lose access to these notes in the notes app or is there a way to reset this to gain access to critical information on this app?

The first time you locked a note with a password, your iPhone informed you that even with Face ID enabled as a substitute, the password will still be required under certain conditions. The one and only way to unlock a locked note in this case is with its password. Your only recourse is to keep trying to remember the password. You get unlimited tries.
