Apple TV 4K 2023 (TvOS v18) No Atmos on Netflix

I have seen this question asked a lot of times, however, never seen a good answer.

At home i normally use an Nvidia Shield and everything working perfect on this. I bought an ATV to test and try out.

Everything is working fine when it comes down to Dolby Atmos using other apps (Disney+, Apple TV+, etc), except for Netflix, it just shows Multi Channel.

Anyone any idea? Or is this just matter of waiting for a new version where the issue will (hopefully) be resolved?

Do you get Atmos content directly to the Apple TV 4K without using the Nvidia Shield?

I have an Apple TV 4K+ here and its Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format is set to Auto which is designed to deliver the best audio input format and one would expect that would be Atmos when present. If you have changed that, or there is some setting in the Nvidia Shield (which I am unfamiliar with) that might be impacting the Apple device, that might bear further investigation.

I am not using an eARC Atmos-ready soundbar so cannot test that here.

I do not believe that every video source, regardless of it being Netflix or Paramount+ is encoded as Dolby Vision/Atmos. If the feed is so advertised, then you should be receiving it that way.
