the bug still exists. My workaround has been to turn off Wi-Fi in the morning to get the podcast default back to the phone. When you try to pick an audio source, the phone itself is not listed. This bug is quite annoying. Perhaps the developers don’t have a home with Wi-Fi and Apple TVs and an iPhone so they’re not experiencing it. However, I highly doubt that. They’re probably listening to some fancy podcasts themselves. And occasionally venture out of their own homes to use their iPhones in the wild. Just occasionally. Have a nice day. I’ll just continue doing my work around.
