Lost most of my photos due to bad service

Hello! Last my mom went to Apple and she changed my iPhone from 14 Pro Max 128gb to 16 Pro Mac 256gb. I couldn't go because I lived in another country. But, the person that made my iPhone change only synched my iCloud even though my mother told the person to pass all the data in my iPhone the employee didn't and my mother didn't know because she doesn't understand much technology, and the available storage for it was 50gb, is there any chance I can get my photos back? I have many precious memories there and I really don't wanna lose it because of this mistake.
