I have purchased a CD and uploaded it to my iTunes (for PC). The entire CD shows in Recently Added but only 8 of the 10 songs show when I go to the actual album in my library. I have connected my mobile to my laptop to update it but only 1 of the songs is showing on my mobile. I have tried repeatedly to sync it.

This will sound silly but try this one out... Highlight all tracks from the album, click "get info", and add something into the comments (whatever it is irrelevant). Try syncing then. It may work. If so, you can delete the comments and re-sync to clear them. This is an occasional issue for some of us here and it tends to work.
You mentioned only 8 of the 10 songs show up in recently added. Before doing the above, check to make sure that the album artist is the same for all tracks on the CD. It may be worth just deleting the tracks in total and re-uploading the CD to start from scratch. I've not seen this issue before, so I am curious what version you are on (I am on 13.3.2.3, but there have been two recent updates since that version).
Hello and thanks for your response. I did actually go into each song on the album and add something (the composer). I also thought that perhaps the only way to get the whole CD of songs to play was to create a playlist - which I did.
I had already deleted all songs and uploaded them again from the CD and they did all show in Recently Added it was just under the actual album that they didn't show.
Then, very strangely, all songs on the album started to show everywhere and when I attached my mobile to sync the songs were all there, but greyed out, and then suddenly they were not greyed out anymore and I can see them.
Although it is a CD from one band it is classed as a compilation by iTunes so I wonder if that had anything to do with it as iTunes doesn't handle compilation albums well (and classifies albums in a strange way anyway).
