Lost Non-Purchased Music From My IPhone 6s

I connected my phone (hardwire) to my PC and pressed SYNC on iTunes. Instead of "sharing" between the 2 devices, it only synced the purchased music. It erased ALL the music that I loaded from CD's over the years.

How do I recover the lost music? It was not backed up to the cloud.

iPhone 6s, iOS 15

You will almost certainly have ignored a warning message asking if you wanted to replace what was currently on the device with the contents of the local library. If you say yes you are taken at your word. iTunes Sync (with the exception of purchases) is one way, computer to device. While there would have been ways to extract your media before you started syncing, e.g. with third party tools or a temporary subscription to the Apple Music service, once the files have been deleted from the device there is no way to recover them. Do you still have access to the previous computer that you originally used to load up your iPhone, or a backup of the same?
