Why is my iPhone 13 not connecting to the monitor?

My iPhone 13 no longer connects to a monitor when using a lightning to AVI dongle with an HDMI cable. Now, I get a message saying to verify the video output resolution is set to 1080 x 1920. So, how do I check/change the video output resolution on my iPhone running OS 18.0.1?
