Adding an mp3 to Apple music

I was having a lot of difficulty adding an mp3 to Apple Music on my phone. Called my friend at Apple to no avail. I finally figured it out but you need a Mac with Apple Music to make it work.

First adjust your settings in AM so your devices will sync.

Then import your mp3 onto the Mac.

Close Apple Music on the Mac and iPhone.

Then reopen both and the song is magically there.

Sounds simple but no one I talked with knew how to do it!
