I am no longer able to use the microphone of the phone using hands free, while plugged into the AUX of my car radio? That's not good. I think I want my Ipnone 13 Pro back.

iPhone and external microphone I’m trying to connect an external microphone to my iPhone 13 Pro using a dongle (3.5 lighting adapter) but it won’t input any sound the phone continues to record using the main phone speakers. Is there a way to fix this? I know no sound input will come out when a microphone is attached but I think overall it’s just reading it as headphones and not a microphone through the dongle.
