Watched Alien Romulus, I could not get subtitles (not audio description to switch off). Paused and pressed select and got subtitle menu, but it would not get it to switch off. I managed to change language, but it would not switch off. I switched the box on & off again and it did not work. I tried an other movie and there was no subtitles. Is this a compatibility issue as my Apple TV is so old? Thank you

This isn’t a fault with your device. What app did you watch the film from?
Just ‘Movies’ on Apple TV. iOS is up to date.
