I have a Magic Mouse 2 that doesn't work

I have a Magic Mouse 2 that has worked flawlessly for many years, but now it doesn't connect anymore. I have just resumed my Mac mini M1 from stand by and the mouse is gone. There is no way to find it with bluetooth.

Of course I have tried to charge it leaving all night connected to a working usb charger.

Of course it is switched on.

Of course I have tried to reboot the Mac mini and "forgot" the mouse

Of course my Mac mini bluetooth works fine and is on

Of course I have tried it with many devices, like a MacBook Pro M1

Of course I have already tried to connect it directly to the MacBook Pro with the USB C - Lightning cable (left connected for hours, then unplugged, switched off/on and nothing happened).

What else can I try?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.0

I encountered an issue with my Magic Mouse 2, which had previously worked flawlessly. However, unlike your situation, the mouse continues to connect via Bluetooth and responds to commands but has stopped working on all surfaces except for one specific mouse pad. I’ve tried different surfaces and recalibration methods, but nothing has resolved the issue. Previously, another mouse simply stopped being recognized by the system and had to be replaced, but that mouse belonged to my wife, and unfortunately, my own mouse is out of warranty.
