I currently have iphone15. I am considering trading for Iphone16 Pro. My ipad is older and unreliable so i thought a 16Pro might be a good alternative to buying a new ipad. thoughts? pros/cons? I like the idea of only one device to keep up with (I have a watch with network).

Only you can decide if a 16 Pro would be enough for you. For me, it's not. I have a 16 Pro Max, an iPad Pro 11 and MacBook Pro, all which serve different needs for me. MacBook Pro for a real computer. iPad Pro, when I'm traveling and don't need the full laptop capabilities and iPhone when I'm out of the house, but don't need either my iPad or MacBook.
We can't know what your use needs are. I will say that an iPad at least to me, is not a replacement for my cell phone. For you however, it may be.
True. Thank you for your insight. I respond to a lot of emails on my phone, and I find it tedious on the little keyboard. I’m ok to browse social media etc on my phone. I guess I’ll make a trip to the mall :)
You're welcome and I think you just answered your own question. I use a keyboard case on my iPad Pro 11, which makes responding to emails and text messages so much easier. Something you may want to consider.
