When i choose to hide a photo it still shows in my normal album after i reopen the app.

Sounds like you have a duplicate photo or the same photo stored in a different video format. Test by taking a picture, then hiding that single photo.
Sorry, the only reports I have seen is where a photo is synced back to the phone from another server or computer. There have been no reports of a photo taken with your camera reappearing after it is hidden. The only thing I can recommend is to contact Apple directly where they will likely advise to reset the phone.
I just haven't been able to confirm that, so trying to understand what could be different.
It hasnt been duplicated photos, when i hide it it disappears from the album but when i reopen the app the photo is there
