Macbook Pro 2017 Running Hot, EtreCheck Shows Heavy CPU Usage

Was noticing poor battery life and my Macbook Pro 2017 was running quite hot, so I ran an EtreCheck report. I received the below results, indicating I am experiencing Heavy CPU usage. Any solutions to the problems identified in the report would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You have Symantec and Norton anti-virus running, that type of software can wreak havoc with Macs. You should completely uninstall them. The MacOS is now kept in a sealed, signed, read-only volume that even you cannot modify, let alone some sort of rogue program. Anti-virus and similar “security” software can only do harm, never anything good. Unfortunately, people have reported difficulty in completely uninstalling these programs, which may pose an ongoing issue for you.

Executable: /Applications/Norton.app

You also did not grant Etrecheck permission to see everything, so there may be more to "fix" if you rerun it with full permissions.
