Lost contact list on iPhone
After updating iOS, on my phone on my contacts have disappeared whatever name I type in is shown as not existing in the contact list

Were the contacts saved with iCloud or with a third-party email? Make sure you are signed into your Mail under Settings>Apps>Mail>Accounts. If you lost your iCloud contacts then you need to call Apple Support or chat with them using the Support App (in the App Store). If your contacts were just saved on the iPhone and not in iCloud or synced with a third-party Email Service Provider, then you might have to reset your iPhone (Erase All Content and Settings) and restore from an iCloud backup that was created before you updated the iPhone.
