How to get the new flashlight animation on iOS 18 updates in iPhone 12 ?

I don’t believe that you can. A YouTube video indicated that the new animation is only available on iPhones with Dynamic Island and called out the iPhone 12 as an example of a phone that would not have the animation.
in addition, the iPhone 12 does not have the hardware necessary to support a beam width control. Only models with Adaptive True Tone Flash have that hardware - and I think there even may have been some of them that did not get that feature.
