Deleted Photo still visible in messaging apps

I deleted a photo from my photos and then permanently deleted it from the recently deleted folder. It is not showing in my library, but when I add a photo in a text message or in the Facebook messenger app the photo still shows. It’s not even showing in my iCloud. Any ideas how to get rid of this thing? Reset settings maybe?

As you've discovered, deleting a picture from Photos doesn't delete it from other apps. If you want the picture removed from another app, you should delete it there. In messages, for instance, you can long-press on a picture, choose More from the menu, and then choose the trash (and say that you're sure.)
