Issue on WhatsApp sent image

The bug you have come across came from one of the many updates that WhatsApp has made to attempt to fix other bugs. The latest one was 4 days ago to go along with the 7 they have had in the last month. They are known for fixing 1 bug and introducing 2 more. It is apparent that instead of doing internal bug testing, they are relying on their users to be bug testers. You can either contact WhatsApp for support or wait for them to issue another update to fix that problem. Based on their past update schedule, it won't be long, but no guarantee that something else won't break.

Apple doesn't own WhatsApp and Meta has particularly buggy software. Contact WhatsApp directly for help with their app. Apple can't fix anything inside it.
