How to disable Compass backtrack on Apple Watch?

I have an Apple Watch Series 9 IOS 11.0.1. Recently I noticed Compass Backtrack is active ALL THE TIME! If I go to the power off screen and try to close it all it does it take me to it's screen. Then when I hike, it takes over without my permission and I can't see the Activity app without going to the app list and opening Activity and then it goes back to Compass by itself in maybe 10 seconds.

I want this OFF my watch!!! How do I get rid of it or at least stop it from Auto Loading!
