icloud photo syncing constantly paused to optimize battery power

Beyond frustrated with this now as it has been the same for multiple iOS.

Please, please, please give the user the ability to control this!

I am fed up opening the Photos App on my Mac, hunting for a recent photo, only to find that synchronisation on my iPhone has been paused to optimize battery power and I have to manually sync it.

The "optimization" makes zero sense as my battery is rarely less than 60%

For example, this has happened numerous times after my phone and my laptop have been left on power over night.

I have read 100s of complaints for the same thing and see lots of infuriating responses, advising the user to ensure Low Battery Mode is not on!?

I'm now evaluating changing to Google Photos instead.

Giving the user the ability to choose the synchronisation frequency (like retrieving e-mail) would make a lot of Apple users very happy.
