Cannot re-install Numbers as I can't download Mac OS 14

I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro 2017 running OS 13.7.1 and there doesn't seem to be an option to upgrade to Mac OS 14. I downloaded a numbers file recently and usually I can open this in my numbers app fine, but it seems like it uninstalled itself. When I go to reinstall it through the App Store, I get a message saying the purchase cannot be completed because Mac OS 14 is required.

Is there a way that I can download a version of numbers compatible with Mac OS 13.7.1?

Or is there a way I can update my Mac to version 14 that I am not seeing?

It seems crazy to me that I would have to buy a whole new Macbook to make a spreadsheet app work at only 7 years old.
