Child's Apple Id Not Working/Active
I purchased a new iPad 10th Gen for my child and setup an child Apple ID for them.
When trying to continue with setting up the iPad, it is requesting the password. I input the password, it's giving me Verification Failed: An unknown error occurred.
When trying to reset the device completely, when inputting the password, I get Verification Failed: This Apple Account is not active.
When trying to reset the password through my Apple ID on my phone, it will do the loading circle, then nothing.
When submitting a Request access to your account, it is not giving me the option to check the status and instead is telling me that all updates will be sent to my child's iCloud email that I don't have access to.
I've spoken to 2 different people at Apple Support and the first told me to update both devices (both are up to date), then the second told me to wait 24 hours and see if it is still going on.
Has anyone found a fix for this issue? I've been dealing with this since yesterday and it's incredibly frustrating.
