Homepod not updating to version 18.1 - any solutions?

I've been trying for a couple of days now to get my 'master' homepod updated. I also own a mini homepod and it managed to update itself. But no luck with the 'mother ship.'

Any suggestions?

Well, now I think I'm waiting for Phillips Hue to get their bridge updated. The homepods did (finally) update to 18.1. The deal is that I have a 2.5/5G wifi network(Linksys Velop - which works great with my solar panels), also a 2.5 wifi network, and a 5G wifi network. My home security system (Abode) *loves* the 5G and I successfully moved it to the Velop network, the Hue app also loves the 5G, but the Apple Home apparently doesn't. (But again, that might also be a Phillips Hue bridge issue - because Siri works fine on the 5G - just not with the Home app.) So, yeah, a bit of a mess on my hands. Luckily, my geofencing with the security system works just fine, along with the Phillips Hue lights which come on at dusk. I just can't get my "scenes" to work in Apple Home. (yet)
