I work for a university and I have a student who is unable to get out onto the internet after she updated her device to 15.1 and her one drive and other applications can't sync due to this issue. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same issue but forgetting network didn’t work for me. I found right clicking WiFi in settings, delete service, and re-enabling it fixed the issue

My laptop kept connecting and then disconnecting from wifi. I ended up going into the network details and setting the ipv6 to link local only and that resolved the issue.

For me too none of the above solutions worked. At last I noticed a VPN configuration was automatically connecting even when I turn it off. I deleted all VPN configurations and finally WiFi is working … so far.
Solved it by choosing ‘Forget This Network’ and reconnecting to the SSID. Using password sharing from my iPad, this took me about 20 seconds.

Thank you! Deleting the Wifi Service, then re-enabling it worked for my 15" M2 MacBook Air; 24 hours later and no network problems so far!
Prior to this, I'd tried many other fixes and none worked. I even did a factory-fresh reinstall of MacOS from scratch, and the networking started screwing up again soon afterwards.

Tried so many fixes suggested here for updating to Sequoia 15.1.1. but nothing worked. Your suggestion to change setting of ipv6 to Link local only finally solved the issue. Thanks!
Hope you not using a VPN and that you have disabled the Firewall
I have the same problem at home: after updating my MacBook to macOS 15.1 and my iPhone to iOS 18.1, they both lost wifi connection. My iPad is still on iPadOS 18, and still has connection. My wife’s devices also haven’t updated yet, and they are fine too, as well as my other networked devices. So the issue must be related to the OS updates.
Any thoughts are most welcome.

Is Private Wifi Address being used ?
If Yes, suggest, check if Rotating address is being used ?
If Yes, change that setting
I work in the IT department. It’s not our servers, she updated it last night when her Wi-Fi was working and next day it doesn’t work whatsoever. Also I checked private relay because we have been know to have conflictions with that but that is also turned off.
Yes - Apple epic fail. The update that was supposed to repair ongoing issues created even more.
I run a very generic MB M1. I finally quit Safari, took it out of the dock and began running Chrome - now Safari is useless, and Chrome is too - and I'm getting the wifi disconnect issues too.
And all this for what? To force a pre-production AI tool to the user base?
Come on Apple, sober up.
I have the same problem with mine. Have tried all the previous suggestions and none have worked. I am trying to login to OneDrive with a university login. But my personal OneDrive login doesn't work either. I am also getting very similar error messages when trying to connect to Zoom. ie no network connection.
