I found i could not dowload previously downloaded apps on tvos 18.0. So i thought it might be the problem of tvos. So i updated it to the latest version 18.1. It turned out 18.1 had the same problems. What's funny though is i could download previously not downloaded ones. Any help there? Appreciate it.
Finally I solved the problem by reloginning my user account on apple tv. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
Well, that sounds more like a network issue. Try unplugging the power from your Apple TV, wait a couple of minutes and then plug it back in. Try again. You might also try doing the same to your WiFi router and/or internet modem, even though everything else seems to be working okay.
Precisely explain what you mean by “Can’t download previously downloaded apps” Are those apps still on your Apple TV or were they deleted at some point and now you want them back? If you go the App Store and search on the app you deleted that app should show a cloud icon with an arrow pointing down, meaning you can download it again.
Of course if the app is still on your Apple TV you cannot download it again without deleting it first.

Let me elaborate. I deleted these apps at some point and now i want them back. When i go to the app store, i can find these apps and they do show "cloud icon with an arrown pointing down" as you mentioned. The problem is when i click on the icon to download it, the download indicator just keeps turning around.(as the image shows) In contrast, when i try to download new apps, apps i've never downloaded before, i can get it done successfully.
