How to change default Arabic numerals from eastern to western?

Hi

I’m trying to change the numbers on my iphone to western Arabic numerals, I have my iPhone language set to English and my region is Saudi Arabia, and we mostly if not always, we use the western Arabic numerals, but the eastern numerals are set to default

I found a way to change it only if I set my iPhone language to Arabic, a new section called “Numbers” show up under language & region

But this “Numbers” section is gone is soon as I change iPhone language to English

I find it really odd that apple made it like this, since imo it should be the other way around, the option to choose between western and eastern numerals should always be there.
