"AppleConnect is required but is not installed"

"AppleConnect is required but is not installed" message appears and won't cancel

I used to work as an internal contractor for Apple and had to install AppleConnect. After uninstalling it, a message box started appearing every time some minutes after start up Mac OS Sequoia. It says "AppleConnect is required but is not installed, or one of its key components is missing. Click on "Download Now" to go to the AppleConnect download web page. Run the AppleConnect installer and try again."

But none of these buttons will work. The window won't go away. Also I don't have access to download AppleConnect anymore.

I've already deleted VPN device management profiles but it didn't help.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you and best wishes for all.

This may be a residual daemon that wasn't removed properly.

From within System Settings, General, Login Items.....Look for

an entry in the list that has a small 'i' within a circle. You can click on the 'i'

and it will open a finder window to the associated location.

Or, using Finder, look in and view the files in these locations (using TextEdit) to see if you can spot which

one it is. (Go to Finder menu ‘Go’ enter /Library). Don't use your library from your username.

You can delete the ones you don’t want but keep them in the Trash Can just in case, so you can restore them if removing them ends up causing other problems.

Login Item Locations:

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/LaunchAgents

And/Or....

/Library/StartupItems

~/Library/LaunchAgents
