Where did #images go from text messages and how do I get it back

#images are gone out of my iPhone, the upgrade didn’t turn it back on. There is no “…” to touch to add. What’d you do to break it and how can I fix it?

iPhone 11, iOS 17

The #images option is still there.

If you tap on the (+) icon on the left side of the reply box, and then on More > at the bottom of the list, it should list #images there if your device is set to a supported region.

click here ➜ Send and save GIFs on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If #images is missing

Make sure that your keyboard is set to a supported language and region. Go to Settings > General and tap Language & Region.

The #images app is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, India, Singapore, Philippines, and Japan.
