Turn Off Zoom:

Seems you may be zoomed in.

Zoom Out:

Place both index finger and your thumb on the screen. Then, swipe both together or apart, from the edged or middle of the screen, respectively.

Or...

Turn Zoom Off, Altogether:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Accessibility
3. Tap: Zoom
4. Toggle Off: Zoom

Take a Screenshot:

So, what's on the other "half" of the screen? Try taking a screenshot, and see if you see this error, when viewing it in the Photos app. If not, then it is likely a failure with the screen. If so, then it is likely an issue with the app.
