Is there a way to keep kids out of settings and removing apps?
My daughter is special needs and carries two iPads everywhere she goes so these issues are becoming more frustrating for us.
Issue 1:
She has a tendency to turn the screen brightness all the way up so I found how to remove it from the control panel while in an app and turned off auto brightness. She learned to go to the Home Screen and the brightness bar will come back. Or she will just go into the settings app. This leads to her batteries dying way more frequently than is needed.
Issue 2:
She will randomly activate airplane mode and not understand that she did it.
Both of these iPads are Verizon connected. One is dedicated to her speech, location, and remote health monitoring so anytime it goes offline unscheduled is very alarming.
Issue 3:
She will delete apps on accident. She is able to redownload any existing apps but it appears she doesn’t realize she’s deleted them.
so I guess I’m really asking if there is a way to just lock the entire iPad configuration to how we have it set up and she can’t do any physical changes without our approval?
thanks
