In-app login browser not letting me input text

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 16, and I am encountering that a lot of apps that open an in-app browser window for log-in won’t let me input any text.

the text boxes will not let me type or paste any text on them.

not really sure what to do about it.

i have tried disabling extensions in Safari assuming that the browser is an extension of it, or disabling auto-fill from my password manager, but I still can’t log in into many of my apps.
