Destination Icon for Airdrop is invisible

When sharing files from Mac Mini (M1 2020, Sequoia 15.0.1) via AirDrop, I initially did not see any of my devices listed. I thought it was an issue with sharing permissions so verified all devices were set to be discoverable. It turns out that my iPad (iPad Pro 11" 18.0.1) is actually invisible - by chance I clicked the empty space and it successfully sent to my iPad (see screen shot) I have a profile picture associated w/ my iPad apple ID. Any thoughts about how I can get it to show up or what the issue is?

Thank you!

The issue is not the inability to find the files, it's that the destination icon does not appear as a possible destination (screen shot shows no icon but the "Sent" in blue indicates that I was able to send the file).

The direction of file movement is from Mac to iPad , I import them into Notability . Sending from iPad via AirDrop to Mac , my Mac's icon shows up, they goto my Downloads folder w/o issue.
