Can i connect my iphone 14 pro to a new 16 pro max with a cable WHILE a too long configuration and data transfer? The configuration lasts hours, I suppose because of a great amount of data.

Sincere apologies, my error. I had not run across that option so I did not think it possible iPhone-to-iPhone directly. But I can almost guarantee that you can't switch mid-transfer.

No, you cannot. Transfer directly between iPhones by cable is not supported. And changing methods among those that are supported will also not work once a transfer has been initiated. You'd have to start the transfer again from scratch.

There is no way, to my knowledge to transfer the data from one iPhone to another by connecting them via a cable. Perhaps that's more clear?
These are the three usual methods, i know them too. It was not my question. The transfer now takes 2,5 hours and is still not finished... i Wanted to speed it up by connecting a cable DURING the transfer.
It's in German but as i far as i understand it, it must also work via a cable.
