Sorry but yes, you still have to pay for it. The finance company doesn't care that it was stolen; they still want the loan paid back. If you have homeowner's or renter's insurance, you can see if your policy would provide any sort of coverage for a lost or stolen device.

Of course. The lender has not provided any insurance against theft or loss.
