Mail on Mac taking up storage -- 2024 and STILL no solution?
Mac Sonoma 14.6.1
System Settings > General > Storage tells me that Mail is taking up 7.8 GB.
All of the Apple help docs are saying to delete attachments, emails, etc.
I've literally deleted EVERYTHING, and it went down to 7.3 GB.
There's no option to find where these mystery files are, there's no way to delete the Mail app, and Apple seems to change where to find these mystery files so that old threads aren't helpful.
At this point, it feels like it's by design, when there are countless threads over many many years and there is no solution in sight. Frustrating to say the least.
Has anyone figured out the current way to delete these storage files?
