iPhone 16 Pro keyboard lag on spotlight search

Every time I swipe down the search, which I do all the time, it takes a second for keyboard to load. I just upgraded from the 12 and this was not an issue. Resetting the keyboard dictationary didn’t help nor did disabling all other keyboards. Reducing motion solves the issue but this is a brand new phone. Is this a bug? I’m on 18.1

Bug: Missing Keyboard in iOS 17.1.2 on iPhone 15 Pro Plus when searching App Library Each time I swipe down, the keyboard fails to show up to type my query. If I dismiss this and swipe down again, I get a keyboard the second time.
