Is it possible for someone to open iPhone and sign into apps with photo

How safe is face recognition? Is it possible for someone to open your phone and sign into apps that use face recognition?

Hello Gueule,

Your question is an actual concern. In it's early days, Face ID wasn't as advanced as it is today and would be fooled by high-quality photos of the registered face or twins with a facial resemblance. Face ID has become more advanced, however, and has technology to check weather the face being captured by the TrueDepth camera is an image or the actual face and takes more advanced infrared images during the face ID registration process to reduce the chance of mistaking a face with a similar look, for the actual face. So, in short, yes, Face ID is secure.
