Hello, after updating to MacOs 15.1 my Display (Dell S2721DGF) which is connected via USB-C to HDMI is not working.
Is this a Bug or is it that Apple only support "certified" adapter and cables after this update?
Can anyone help me?

Is this a direct USB-C to HDMI cable connected to your mac and the display, or is there some dock in between? If the latter, and it is one of those docks that require DisplayLink software, make sure that it's up to date.
It should work.
Does the display show anywhere in System Information (either under Graphics/Displays or under USB, or both)?
(To open System Information, hold down the Option key and select "System Information" from the Apple menu)
I'm having a similar issue with my M3 MacBook Pro. Monitor connects without any issues to my iPhone 15 Pro Max via the same USB-C to HDMI Cable. HDMI direct to the MacBook also works fine. Issue started after the update to 15.1
On the display link manager there should be a downloadable extension, when I downloaded the extension everything started working again. I’m assuming due to the new update you need to also look for an update on display link manager
It is a direct USB-C to Hdmi cable.
It is very likely the issue with the USB-C to HDMI cable. I faced the same issue so I updated the Cable Matters USB C to HDMI 2.1 Cable which supports 4K@240Hz and 8K@60Hz. All sorted now
