If your Apple Watch Series 8 isn’t getting a cellular connection after pairing, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Airplane Mode: Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off on both your Apple Watch and iPhone. On your watch, swipe up from the bottom and check the airplane icon.
Check Cellular Plan: Ensure that your Apple Watch is properly set up with a cellular plan. You can check this in the Watch app on your iPhone under "Cellular."
Reboot Devices: Try restarting both your Apple Watch and iPhone. Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.
Update Software: Ensure that both your Apple Watch and iPhone are running the latest versions of their operating systems. Go to Settings > General > Software Update on both devices.
Reset Cellular Settings: On your iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Plans, and then try removing the plan from your watch and adding it back.
Network Settings Reset: You can also reset your network settings on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note that this will remove saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords.
If all these suggestions do not work, I recommend going to an Apple Store, Apple Service, or call Apple Support to report the issue.
