My watch is not connecting to the cellular network

I got my new watch on Saturday and since then is unable to connect to the cellular network

Apple Watch Series 8, watchOS 9

Assuming you have cellular capability, you'll need to open the control center by swiping up from the bottom of your watch screen. Tap on the icon in the upper left (antenna with signal lines) that brings up a screen that provides a slide to turn on the cellular phone. If that doesn't work, contact your cellular provider for assistance.
