i lost my 8 plus phone charging cable. The phone is not magnetic so it does fit on mag chargers. I’ve tried 3 other “compatible” fast chargers that didn’t work. I just want to know what the cord was that originally came with them phone. The name of the 2 ends (one is USB but I can’t locate the name of the other end).

Your iPhone 8 has Apple's Lightning connector. So any good-quality cable that goes from a Lightning connector to whatever connector your power block has (normally either USB-A or USB-C) should work.
